Event Details

Overview:
The Capitol City Classic is a new event that will take place in Downtown Sacramento, with a start and fi nish at Crocker Park. Crocker Park’s central location will allow for perhaps Sacramento’s most scenic 5K and 10K race courses, with portions of the course along Capitol Mall, along the Sacramento River, crossing both the I Street and Tower Bridges, and a section through Old Sacramento. The event is also a platform for several Sacramento County youth running/fi tness programs to compete in a running event. An estimated 2,000 participants are expected for the inaugural event.

• Sunday, April 17, 2011


Location:
• Crocker Park in Downtown Sacramento
• On 3rd Street at O Street, near Capitol Mall

Times:
• Booth Set-Up is from 6:00-7:30 AM on event morning.
• Expo hours are from 7:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Attendance:
• 2,000 registered participants expected.
• 2,500 spectators and 500 volunteers.
• Space limited to 40 booths
• Health-oriented, active demographic
• Participants from Sacramento, Elk Grove, Davis, Folsom
• Estimated 52% women
• Estimated 500 are ages 17 and under

Booth Fees:
• Standard Booth Fee is $100.00.
• Non-Profi t Booth Fee is $75.00.

• Paypal and credit card accepted.
• If you wish to pay via check, please reserve space online and select the option to “pay by check with invoice.”

Other Infomation
• Resale license & business license are required for any vendor wishing to sell goods.
• Sacramento County Health Permit required to sell food.
• Electricity is available for an additional $25.00 if requested in advance.
• Booth space includes one 8’ table and 2 chairs.
• Site map, confi rmation and parking passes e-mailed the week of April 11th.
• Expo takes place on grass
• 10’x10’ EZ-UP tents are recommended.
• Event takes place rain or shine.
